Duroline understands that the respect to ethical values, to the Law, to the community and to the evironment always comes first. That´s the reason why social and environmental responsibility actions are carried out as a sign of the company´s respect and commitment towards the future of the community.

The Training Center Provides Qualification to Clients and Employees

The Duroline Center of Technology and Training was conceived with the purpose of aggregating the principles of sustainability, functionality of the research facilities, development of new products and both clients' and employees' training. The Center has high end equipment for tests and demonstrations.

The CTT is located next to Duroline´s main plant and it is a three-floor building. The pilot laboratories, the physico-chemical laboratories and equipment for testing are on the ground floor. On the the first floor the administrative departament and product development engineering and training departments are located.

On the third floor, a green terrace was built. It is a place with vegetation, pebbles, decks and wood furniture. The vegetation contributes to the improvement of air quality, in addition to being a space for the comfrort and well being of the people who use it, with acoustic isolation and lower heat concentration. Following the sustainability concept, both the interior and exterior finishings are made of easy maintenance materials, allowing for a longer useful life of the building.

Aiming at the preservation of the planet, Duroline is commited to protecting and preserving the environment in every stage of the production process, investing intensively in clean technologies for the sustainable development.

From the product development to its application, we aim at the environmental impact minimization of materials, processes and final use. The revolutionary Wave Process is a proof of that concern, a technique developed exclusively by Duroline to recycle brake linings, which had no use after they were replaced.

Nature is our greatest asset and it is everyone´s responsibility.
