The products developed by Duroline are elaborated through scientific research and use of modern equipment to achieve maximum quality in the manufacturing of the materials. The studies developed have made possible that Duroline´s brake lining composition contains chemical components which generate greater heat dissipation, less noise and better performance when braking.

Duroline offers three kinds of brake linings densities, according to its chemical composition. Each one is prepared to be adapted to each driver´s needs:

• DNA-38 PREMIUM: high performance and greater durability with moderate aggressiveness to the drum and very low noise levels. It is ideal for extreme condition applications for both city and road transportation. It is the formulation which presents the best cost-benefit relation.
• DNA-28 SUPER: Good durability and excellent braking power, low noise level and low agressiveness to the drum. Ideal for both city and road transportation.
• DNA-78: Good durability and good braking Power, with low noise levels. Indicated to be used in Road vehicles, trucks and heavy-duty trucks. It is the most economical formulation.

Certifications

The certification ISO 9001 is applied to guarantee the efficiency in the company´s management and in the production of materials. All the manufacturing process stages are monitored through a computerized system that evaluates the materials conditions at the end of each stage. The process begins with the homogenization of the selected raw materials, going through the physico-chemical transformation and, finally, through the Wave Process system, which transfers to the product all the necessary characteristics for a better performance and greater durability.

The application of the Wave Process is sustained through the quality management in all stages of the product manufacturing. The constant analysis of all the aspects necessary for the brake linings good performance is an action that fundamentally interferes in the result. From the mixing of the chemical components that form the lining to the final assembly, the quality evaluation is the characteristic that guides all the processes.

An advanced finishing technology is also applied to the lining shaping. The rectification of the internal radius, for instance, allows a better fitting of the lining and heat dissipation, essential aspects for the perfect performance of the brake system.
