Duroline, one of the leading trademarks in the production of friction materials, has just celebrated the 21st anniversary of its foundation and recognized actuation both in Brazil and abroad. The Company from Caxias do Sul employs 250 collaborators and emphasizes the excellence of its products.

Duroline produces and distributes equipment which make up the brake system of heavy-duty vehicles such as adjusters, wheels, brake pads and other items under the SuperBrake and Duroline trademarks. The company invests on the close evaluation of all production stages for the brake linings - through the Quality Management System - and in the care with the environment through the use of the exclusive and patented WaveProcess production method.

In 2008 Duroline and Borrachas Vipal, one of the greatest trademarks in the world concerning tires retreading, became partners. In addition, Duroline maintains a strategic alliance with Stemco, American manufacturer of heavy-duty vehicles equipment and which is part of the EnPro Industries. In October 2009, Duroline established a strategic alliance with Fervi Air, located in Buenos Aires, a manufacturer of tubes, suspension sets and pneumatic valves, and started supplying products in the suspension market. For Fervi Air, which has been in the market since 1977 supplying products for Argentinian assembling companies like Scania, Mercedes-Benz and Agrale, the alliance represents a doorway to the Brazilian market.

Thus, the company, which exports for more than 30 countries in all continents, strengthens even more its activities in the international scenario, specially in the United States of America.

One of the greatest differentials of Duroline´s products lies in the production process, which begins with the homogenization of selected raw-materials going through the physico-chemical transformation, and finally, going through the revolutionary system Wave Process, transferring all the necessary characteristics to the product to ensure the best performance and the greatest durability.

The dimensional elaboration is also based on advanced technology for the finishing, in which we highlight the internal radius rectification, which allows a better fitting of the lining as well as heat dissipation, important factors for a good performance of the brake system.
